Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Solutions Engineer in Tucson, onsite, to design, build, and integrate advanced electrical test systems for mission-critical defense products. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high reliability from development labs to production.

The role requires deep lab skills, circuit design experience, and proficiency in test automation with Python or similar tools. A DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration.

Qualifications

Advanced STEM degree must be obtained by start date.
Experience selecting and integrating passive/active components in analog/digital designs.
Experience operating lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers) to test hardware and measure signals.
Experience gained via on-the-job experience, coursework, labs or projects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and integrate electrical test products, fixtures, and cabling for defense systems.
Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and engineering documentation to standards.
Validate hardware performance using lab equipment and characterize results.
Diagnose and resolve hardware integration issues across development and production.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to deliver robust test architectures.
