Job summary

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, is offering an on-site Engineering Co-op in Cedar Rapids. You will join a team that designs displays for commercial and military avionics, bridging classroom theory with practical engineering.

This full-time co-op runs June through December and requires pursuing an engineering degree, with at least 60 credit hours by start. You will work with a skilled team, learn display technologies, and contribute to real-world projects while developing problem-solving

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced engineering degree and enrolled through internship.
• Minimum 60 credit hours by internship start.
• Experience working on collaborative projects and teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Participate in a full-time, Monday–Friday co-op session June–December.
• Assist in engineering design and development of displays for avionics.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers on display projects.
• Help implement design or development process changes.
• Apply problem-solving skills in a hands-on environment.
