RTX Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is offering a full-time engineering co-op January–July/August, providing a hands-on mentorship that blends classroom theory with real-world engineering. You will contribute to designing displays for commercial and military avionics and learn industry-standard practices.

You will work with a skilled team to apply problem-solving skills in a practical setting, gaining experience in optics, model-based engineering, and hardware integration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience working on collaborative projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop displays for Commercial and Military Avionics.
• Merge theoretical knowledge with practical engineering applications.
• Work with a team of engineers to tackle challenges and improve product design or development processes.
