Job summary

RTX seeks an Engineering Co‑op in Cedar Rapids to bridge classroom theory with practical aerospace engineering. You will join Collins Aerospace on a hands‑on project creating displays for commercial and military avionics.

Join a team of engineers to tackle challenges, implement design changes, and gain experience across design and development processes in a high‑tech defense environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the internship/co‑op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co‑op session.
• Experience working on collaborative projects and teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Design and development of displays for Commercial and Military Avionics.
• Work with an outstanding team of engineers on avionics applications.
• Tackle challenges and apply problem‑solving in a hands‑on environment.
• Create or implement changes to product design or development processes.
