Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids is seeking an Engineering Co-op for a full-time spring/summer internship to immerse in practical aerospace display development. You will merge coursework with hands-on design and testing, collaborating with a team of engineers on both commercial and military avionics projects.

The program emphasizes problem solving, applying engineering best practices, and learning optical and display technologies within a safety-conscious environment. Relocation eligibility is noted.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the internship/co-op.
• Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of internship/co-op session.
• Experience working on collaborative projects and teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel)

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session from June to December.
• Support design and development of aerospace displays for commercial and military avionics.
• Work with engineers to create and implement changes to product design or development processes.
• Collaborate with a team to tackle challenges in a hands-on engineering environment.
