Job summary

Augmentis is representing a leading aerospace manufacturing client seeking a Cost Accountant to partner with Operations and Finance to drive cost reduction and accurate inventory valuation. You’ll support daily P&L preparation, prepare margin analyses, and ensure costing accuracy across work cells using US GAAP guidance.

The role requires a BA in Accounting or Finance with 2+ years in cost accounting in manufacturing, and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP tools such as Infor Visual

Qualifications

• BA in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expert skills in financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of Infor Visual Manufacturing and Infor Global Financials is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partners with Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Outside Processing, and Inventory Control to improve operational excellence.
• Manages cost accounting transactions to ensure performance against US GAAP and Company policies.
• Ensures inventory valuation accuracy through correct costing, analysis, and cycle count tracking.
• Performs analysis and support to Operations Management to achieve cost reduction goals.
• Assists in daily/monthly P&Ls preparation and reporting of margin analyses.
