Job summary

Augmentis seeks a cost accountant with 2+ years in manufacturing to join our finance team. You’ll partner with operations to enhance margins, manage cost transactions, and support P&L preparations. The role includes annual physical counts and involvement in ERP upgrades, with relocation assistance provided.

Candidates should have a BA in Accounting or Finance and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong cost analysis and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• BA in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Expert skills in financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, planning and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Outside Processing, and Inventory Control to improve operational excellence.
• Manages cost accounting transactions to ensure US GAAP compliance and company costing policies.
• Ensures inventory valuation accuracy through correct costing, analysis, and cycle count tracking.
• Performs analysis and support to Operations Management to achieve cost reduction goals.
• Assists in the preparation of daily and monthly P&Ls.
• Reviews and updates standard costs for each work cell.
• Prepares and communicates margin analysis and reports to Operations Management.
• Assists in preparing costing data for major business decisions.
• Leads annual physical inventory counts and quarterly mini counts.
• Supports ERP upgrades and Lean initiatives.
