Job summary

Enjet Aero in Manchester, CT is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to write 3-, 4-, and 5-axis programs for aerospace components. You will read blueprints, select tools, and work with engineers to optimize machining for aluminum, stainless, Inconel, and titanium.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years programming CNC equipment and 5+ years in manufacturing, preferably aerospace; NX CAD/CAM experience is required. You will create setup sheets, support first-piece runs, and help ensure on-time delivery of

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC programming experience on turning/milling equipment.
• Proficient with G-code and machine controls (Okuma, Matsuura, Fanuc, Haas).
• NX CAD/CAM experience; drafting/modeling a plus.
• Experience with 3D models and Vericut is a plus.
• 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing/machining preferred.
• Familiarity with different materials (Al, Stainless, Titanium, Inconel).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to read blueprints and geometric tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Create toolpaths and G-code (NX) programs for 3-, 4-, 5-axis machining.
• Program complex aerospace components for aluminum, stainless, Inconel, titanium.
• Read and interpret blueprints and tolerancing to specs.
• Assist in process development including setups and first piece runs.
• Select cutting tools and work-holding strategies for accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize processes.
• Create setup sheets and maintain clear documentation.
