Jobot, an established aerospace manufacturer, seeks a CNC Programmer to lead programming and optimization for complex aerospace parts at a state-of-the-art facility in Meriden, CT. You will guide tooling decisions, set up strategies, and work with cross-functional teams during a major equipment upgrade.

Requirements include 5+ years of CNC programming with 3-axis capability, proficiency in Siemens NX (Unigraphics) or Mastercam, and strong GD&T skills. A path to senior roles is defined.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience, minimum 3-axis.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX (Unigraphics) (preferred) or Mastercam and strong GD&T skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC programs in Siemens NX.
• Select tooling, set speeds and feeds, and establish cutting strategies.
• Perform simulations, prove-outs, and troubleshooting to ensure first-article success.
• Develop setup sheets and process documentation that meet AS9100 standards.
• Reduce cycle times and lead continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and supply-chain teams during equipment ramp-up.
