Blue Origin in Titusville, FL seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to develop and machine spaceflight components on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and multi-axis lathes. You will program, set up, and run NC CAM programs and inspect parts to tight tolerances.

You will collaborate with engineering, document production processes, and contribute to Design for Manufacturing feedback. The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and working with various controls and machines.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience with 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining.
• 7+ years of experience with manual mill and lathe.
• 5+ years of experience with NX Cam highly preferred.
• Full understanding of GD&T and the tools to execute the inspection of.

Mansioni

• Develop hardware in parallel and in collaboration with Engineering.
• Machine product from cradle to grave: evaluate, select work-holding & tooling, program, setup, machine and inspect, while communicating with design teams throughout the entire life cycle.
• Programming, set up and machining of 3, 4 and 5 axis mills, multi axis lathes, and development of critical machining processes.
• Operation of other equipment as required, both NC controlled and manual.
• Working with engineering to document and standardize production processes.
• Partner with leadership and engineering to prioritize work based on production schedule and organizational goals.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to engineering specifications.
• Perform daily maintenance and regular cleaning of machinery and equipment.
• Perform all tasks in safe and responsible manner.
