Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking highly skilled machinists and NC programmers in Colorado to program, set up, and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines for aerospace components. You will interpret complex drawings, maintain tight tolerances, and document processes for repeatability.

Experience with Okuma equipment and MasterCAM is desirable. Applicants should be able to work overtime as needed and contribute to a culture of safety and quality in a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience machining aerospace components.
• Experience machining aluminum, titanium, annealed stainless steels, nickel-based alloys, copper, plastics, brass.
• Experience programming/setup/operating 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC machines (Horizontal and Vertical).
• Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 is a must.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate a variety of advanced CNC machine tools to manufacture complex aerospace components in a high mix/low volume production environment.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications to produce precision parts with tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, including tool selection, fixture challenges, and process optimization.
