Blue Origin seeks a highly skilled CNC machinist to drive production of critical aerospace components on 3, 4, and 5 axis machines. You will program, set up, machine, and inspect parts while collaborating with design teams to meet specifications.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in multi-axis CNC, extensive NX experience, and strong GD&T knowledge. This full-time role supports our safety-focused manufacturing and operations teams at a major Blue Origin facility.

Competenze

• 10+ years of experience with 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining.
• 10+ years of experience with manual mill and lathe.
• 7+ years of experience with NX.
• Full understanding of GD&T and the tools to execute the inspection of.

Mansioni

• Machine product from cradle to grave: evaluate, select work-holding & tooling, program, setup, machine and inspect, while communicating with design teams throughout the entire life cycle.
• Programming, set up and machining of 3, 4 and 5 axis mills, multi axis lathes, and development of critical machining processes.
• Operation of other equipment as required, both NC controlled and manual.
• Working with engineering to document and standardize production processes.
• Partner with leadership and engineering to prioritize work based on production schedule and organizational goals.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to engineering specifications.
• Perform daily maintenance and regular cleaning of machinery and equipment.
• Perform all tasks in safe and responsible manner.
