Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Project Engineer II to manage engineering projects across Tempe product families. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, track milestones, and serve as Design Authority to ensure product integrity.

You will report to the Product Support Engineering Manager on a hybrid schedule, contributing to on-time delivery, quality improvements, and factory/field issue investigations across aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• YOU MUST HAVE a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• YOU MUST HAVE 2+ years of experience in aerospace engineering project management.
• YOU MUST HAVE knowledge of aerospace engineering principles and project management.
• YOU MUST HAVE knowledge of MS Office and AS9100 quality standards.
• YOU MUST HAVE experience in risk management and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• YOU MUST BE able to maintain technical integrity and sound engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project management of Tempe product family engineering activities.
• Ensure product integrity as Design Authority for Tempe product families.
• Support design integrity during supplier transitions and field issues.
• Act as technical liaison to R&O and OEM factories.
• Support risk assessment and mitigation to maintain timelines and quality.
