Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA) is seeking a part-time CAD Model Design Intern to support the Flight Dynamics Research Facility at NASA Langley Research Center.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student in mechanical or aerospace engineering with CAD experience.
• Experience with CAD models and the native CAD format.
• Ability to work onsite at NASA Langley.

Responsibilities

• Develop models in .igs or .stp formats and CAD native formats.
• Create CAD models for oscillation configurations with mounting interfaces.
• Design geometry for thermal inset fasteners for mounting to balance sting.
• Create CAD solid models of free flight wind tunnel models using CAD or 3D printing.
• Design models to enable a movable center of gravity.
