Parker Aerospace in Ogden, UT is seeking a results-driven Commodity Manager to own end-to-end procurement for key aerospace commodities. You will drive sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and cost-out initiatives while ensuring quality and on-time delivery across new products and sustaining programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years of strategic sourcing/category management experience, ideally in aerospace or complex manufacturing.
• Demonstrated success negotiating LTAs and managing supplier relationships for engineered components/assemblies.
• Strong commercial acumen with TCO, should-cost, cost breakdowns, and indexation model.
• Working knowledge of aerospace quality systems and tools (AS9100, AS9145/APQP, PPAP, FAI, NADCAP processes).
• Experience with ERP/MRP and e-sourcing tools; advanced Excel; analytics (Power BI a plus).
• Proven cross-functional leadership, project management, and problem-solving (8D/A3/Lean Six Sigma).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive-ready presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Direct all phases of the subcontract from business case to cost accountability.
• Lead material-related design activities and procurement planning with potential sources.
• Select suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage high-value, long-lead time parts.
• Maintain supplier performance, conduct program reviews, and advise on status.
• Conduct market surveys, bidder conferences, and prepare pre-award documentation.
• Develop negotiation objectives and strategies; establish subcontracts and SOWs.
• Administer subcontracts and monitor expenditures against budgets.
• Perform supplier site visits and lead certification surveys where required.
• Share knowledge, mentor others, and participate in cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and internal policies.
