Qualifications

• Knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, and supplier selection.
• Experience with RFQs, cost analysis, and contract terms.
• Familiarity with ERP, MRP, EDI and supplier performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers; issue RFQs/Proposals and select vendors.
• Conduct supplier site visits; assess capability, delivery, and quality.
• Prepare purchase orders reflecting negotiated terms; maintain lead times.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
• Participate in cost reduction, process improvements, and supplier development.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and ethics across purchasing.
