Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is seeking a Blender / Bench Mechanic for the AWW shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM) in a FAA-regulated facility. The role focuses on blending, smoothing, deburring, and assembly of aerospace case parts per work instructions.

You will read blueprints, prepare parts for welding or machining, set up and operate abrasive equipment, inspect conformance, and document work. A HS diploma with 1 year of related experience is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work Fri-Sun, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM.
• FAA-regulated site; safety procedures and paperwork expected.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, to determine work requirements.
• Blend and deburr parts to written specifications.
• Set up and operate abrasive belt, wheel, or disk for blending.
• Inspect parts to verify conformance with specifications.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain records.
• Perform assembly, disassembly, blast, braze, sizing, heat treat, and cleaning operations as specified.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
