Pratt & Whitney in Wells, ME offers an amazing opportunity as a Bench Mechanic on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30pm-1:30am). You will perform pre-coating surface prep, masking, and post-coating tasks with hands-on tools on aerospace engine components.

You’ll support maintenance, diagnosing equipment, and help improve operation parameters. The role requires 0-1 years of related experience or a related degree, strong attention to detail, and good communication.

Qualifikationen

• 0-1 years of related experience or a completed degree/certificate in a related field.
• High School or GED

Aufgaben

• Perform pre-coating operations from verbal, written, or computer-generated instructions.
• Perform post-coating tasks including removing parts from fixtures and masking.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning equipment; perform minor repairs on coating equipment.
• Check parts to meet visual and dimensional requirements using micrometers, verniers, height gauges and fixed gauges.
• Assist engineers in developing new or changed operations and offer recommendations for process improvements.
• Maintain flexibility to handle multiple priorities and overtime as required.
