Job summary

Apex is seeking a BD Director for Commercial Markets to drive growth with new and existing commercial accounts in the Americas. You will own full-cycle deal management from lead identification to contract close, developing strategies and maintaining a robust pipeline.

The role demands 5+ years in aerospace BD, experience in quota-carrying positions, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment in the United States. ITAR and US Person considerations apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BD, sales, or sales engineering in aerospace.
• Experience in quota-carrying roles.
• Account and deal strategy experience with multi-stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of satellite market, funding models, and prime/subcontractor dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities in the Americas commercial market, from lead to signature.
• Develop account strategies and win plans for pursuits, solving relational, business, and technical risks.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and forecast accuracy in CRM.
• Build trusted relationships across customer levels from program managers to executives.
• Travel to industry events, meetings, and trade shows to drive awareness and opportunities.
