Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. seeks a BD Director for Commercial Markets to drive growth in the Americas. You will own full-cycle deal management from lead identification to contract signature, developing account strategies and maintaining a healthy pipeline in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will build relationships at multiple levels, travel to industry events, and provide market feedback to inform pricing and product direction. U.S. person status is required due to export controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, sales, or sales engineering in Aerospace markets.
• Experience in quota-carrying roles with sales targets.
• Experience developing and executing account and deal strategies with multiple stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of satellite market landscape and funding processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities in the Americas commercial market.
• Develop account strategies and win plans for all pursuits.
• Maintain a strong, healthy pipeline and forecast accuracy.
• Build relationships across customer levels.
• Travel to industry events and customer meetings.
• Provide market feedback to inform product roadmap and pricing strategy.
