Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate in computer, electrical, aerospace engineering, or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internships, labs, or projects).
• Coursework or projects in embedded systems, computer architecture, OS, real‑time systems, or related disciplines.
• Experience programming in C or C++.
• Experience developing software for microcontrollers, embedded processors, or FPGA-based systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, test, and debug flight software and firmware with embedded teams.
• Develop software for microcontrollers, processors, sensors, and avionics hardware.
• Support board bring‑up and HW/SW integration, debugging interfaces.
• Implement and debug drivers and interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, GPIO).
• Create software tests using lab hardware and hardware‑in‑the‑loop setups.
• Support real‑time software development with RTOS or similar framework.
• Debug issues with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, and serial consoles.
• Develop Python scripts for test automation and analysis tools.
• Assist integration of sensors, flight computers, RF systems, and power electronics.
• Analyze failures, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Document software behavior, test results, and interfaces for verification.
