Job summary

Flytrex in Pilot Point, TX is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform assembly tasks, testing, conformity evaluations, and quality control for the Flytrex Unmanned Aircraft System, coordinating with the supply chain team at the Israeli HQ.

The role requires 3+ years of experience with small electronic systems and rotorcraft tech, using precision tools and measurement devices to ensure strict adherence to specifications. Travel may be required; an Associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience with small electronic systems, electrical circuitry, motor systems, or demonstrated expertise in aircraft/UAS/rotorcraft.
• Strong foundation in engineering principles and practical manufacturing applications.
• Collaborative, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, testing, conformity evaluations and quality control for Flytrex UAS production.
• Set up fixtures, operate tools and measuring instruments for sub-assembly and final assembly.
• Interpret engineering drawings and work orders to ensure correct assembly and documentation of results.
• Travel may be required for supplier or site visits and coordination with international teams.
