Job summary

Flytrex Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our production manufacturing team in Pilot Point, TX. You will perform assembly tasks, testing, and quality control for the Flytrex Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) in coordination with our global supply chain.

The role requires hands-on experience with small electronic systems, a strong engineering background, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Domestic/international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience with small electronic systems, electrical circuitry, motor systems, or demonstrated expertise in aircraft/UAS/rotorcraft
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practical manufacturing applications
• Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field (preferred)
• Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and communicate professionally
• Self-motivated with proactive mindset and ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs across sites
• Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assemble, sub-assemble, and install components per work instructions
• Perform testing, conformity evaluations, and QA procedures
• Interpret engineering drawings and schematics for precise assembly
• Use hand/power tools and fixtures safely to complete operations
• Conduct calibration, adjustments, and inspections to ensure specs
• Maintain tooling and report audit findings and non-conformances
• Collaborate with quality and supply chain teams to meet requirements
• Travel may be required domestically and internationally
