Job summary

Flytrex Inc. in Plano, TX is hiring an Assembly Technician to join our Production Manufacturing team working on the Flytrex Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS). You will perform assembly tasks, testing, conformity evaluations, and quality control to ensure products meet design specifications.

The role requires hands-on use of tools, precision measurement, and collaboration with the supply chain and engineering teams to maintain manufacturing standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with small electronic systems, circuits or aircraft/UAS equipment.
• Strong engineering principles with practical manufacturing know-how.
• Associate degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and evaluate components for Flytrex UAS.
• Perform quality checks and conformity evaluations per QMS and specs.
• Operate hand and power tools (routers, drills, die grinders) safely.
• Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, scales).
• Interpret engineering drawings and work orders for sub-assemblies.
