Job summary

Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies, seeks an Assembler/Tester A on 2nd shift for the Military Flight Controls Division in Dublin, GA. You will accurately assemble/test moderately complex products, following blueprints and work instructions to meet customer quality and on-time delivery goals.

You will use hand and power tools and test equipment, interpret blueprints and specifications, and contribute to lean initiatives.

Qualifications

Two or more years industry related experience in assembly/test in a manufacturing environment.
Able to read blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
Possess strong mechanical reasoning.
Able to implement and effectively apply lean initiatives.
Soldering certification may be required per customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Assemble/test moderately complex products using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, test equipment, and inspection instruments.
Record test results on data forms using electrical equipment and measurement devices.
Identify malfunctions from test data and rework as instructed.
Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives.
Produce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specifications and standards.
Participate in lean initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
