Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an assembler to accurately assemble and test products to meet customer schedules. You will work in a manufacturing environment in Irvine, CA, utilizing mechanical skills and basic tools to ensure quality.

The role emphasizes reading blueprints, following specifications, and contributing to lean initiatives to reduce waste while maintaining safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year general mechanical work experience.
• Able to read blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
• Able to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
• Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to apply lean initiatives to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/test products with basic mechanical skills and tooling.
• Record test results using data forms and basic electrical equipment.
• Interpret engineering orders, routes, and test specifications.
• Produce and inspect assemblies to meet product specifications and standards.
• Perform touch-up or full surface painting of parts as needed.
• Support lean initiatives and suggest areas for improvement.
