Job summary

Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies, with a Military Flight Controls Division based in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on assembling and testing electrohydraulic components, interpreting blueprints, and delivering quality products on schedule.

You will perform basic assembly tasks with tools, maintain calibration, and contribute to lean improvements while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year general mechanical work experience.
• Able to read blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrate mechanical reasoning and teamwork.
• Able to use PMR and TORS systems and email.
• Lean initiatives experience or interest.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, test equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Records test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
• Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
• Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specifications. Assembles/tests to customer and/or industry standards.
• Performs touch-up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, glaze, etc. Mixes paint and clean parts.
• Actively participates in lean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areas for improvement.
• Observes all safety rules and maintains a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
• Ensures all equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule.
• May perform other related responsibilities.
