Job summary

Parker Hannifin's Military Flight Controls Division in Irvine, CA is seeking a motivated assembler/test technician. You will perform basic assembly and test functions on aerospace components, reading blueprints and specifications to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of general mechanical work experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• A basic understanding of lean manufacturing concepts.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly and test functions with tools and test equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Record test results on data forms using electrical equipment and flow meters.
• Interpret blueprints, orders, routes, specs, and quality directives.
• Produce and inspect assemblies to meet product specifications and standards.
• Conduct touch-up or full surface painting and prepare parts for finishing.
• Support lean initiatives by suggesting improvements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and ensure calibration of equipment.
