Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an Aerospace Assembler/Tester for first shift. You will assemble and test a range of moderately complex products, using mechanical and electrical test equipment, while adhering to schedules and quality requirements.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and specifications, recording results, and participating in lean initiatives to improve productivity. Soldering may be required; a high school diploma and aerospace experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years aerospace assembly/test experience.
• Proficient reading of blueprints, routings, and test specifications.
• Able to interpret reports and use standard business software.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a lean manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/test moderately complex products using mechanical skill and various tools and test equipment.
• Record test results on data forms with electrical/test equipment.
• Identify malfunctions from test data and rework as instructed.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, routes, test specs, and quality directives.
• Assemble, test, and/or solder to meet customer and industry standards.
• Perform touch-up or full surface painting of parts.
