Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Additively Manufactured components engineer to translate engineering intent into print models and manage the LPB manufacturing process from printing to post-processing. You will work with operators, quality technicians, and engineers to drive improvements and ensure part readiness.

The role emphasizes design for additive manufacturing, data-driven process improvements, and collaboration across manufacturing and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in aerospace or similar industries.
• Exposure to laser powder bed fusion printing or similar.
• Ability to work onsite and support production.

Responsibilities

• Own the offshift Engineering support of Additively Manufactured components from printing to post-processing using LPB printing.
• Demonstrate machine specific workflows and software packages to improve additive designs.
• Participate in company process definition, documentation, and improvement teams for manufacturing processes.
• Develop manufacturing work instructions from print to delivery.
• Closely manage cost, quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform root cause analyses and deploy corrective actions.
