Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a driven candidate to translate engineering intent into additively manufactured metallic flight hardware. You will learn LPB printing workflows, assist with print models, support the manufacturing process, and collaborate with operators, quality, and engineering to address manufacturing issues.

Ideal candidates have a recent engineering degree and a passion for additive manufacturing, with willingness to work on-site in Kent, WA and support production needs as required.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or higher in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, aerospace engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing processes and design for AM recommended.
• Familiarity with CAD tools (Creo) and engineering documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Support development of Additively Manufactured components from concept to production using LPB printing.
• Define and deliver production print models using state-of-the-art software and DFAM principles.
• Learn machine workflows and software to improve additive designs.
• Participate in manufacturing process definition, documentation, and improvement teams.
