Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our air transport team, delivering advanced life support from on-scene calls to hospital transfers. You will participate in safety-focused operations with a professional crew and ensure high-quality patient care.

Starting pay is $20.92/hr plus $4.17/hr GEO modification, DOE. This role requires EMT-P licensure, 3+ years in critical care, and FP-C within 24 months; ongoing training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in states served.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certs required before flight.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) within 24 months from hire date.
• Instructor certs in BLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP/ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatch.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care until transfer of care.
• Maintain competency via ongoing lab and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety and procedures in Education Manual.
• Know how to use and maintain emergency equipment.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings; complete required docs.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff and pilot support (radio, navigation, observation).
• Follow safety standards to protect crew, patients and equipment.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
• Fill open or vacant shifts within assigned area as directed by Regional Director.
