Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is recruiting a Helicopter Pilot to deliver rapid medical transport services. This full-time role reports to the flight operations team and requires maintaining FAA certifications, instrument rating, and medical clearance.

Earn a competitive salary with a 3% geographic adjustment, plus a $15,000 sign-on and retention bonuses. On-duty housing is provided, and a 7/7 schedule supports continuity of care for patients.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 total flight hours and 1,500 helicopter hours minimum.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours and 100 night hours.
• Maximum 230 lb weight, flight gear included.
• Preferred: B407 experience; HS diploma or higher.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical flight team.
• Maintain aircraft readiness and comply with FAR/Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Keep accurate regulatory and operation documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities.
• Provide shift-change information to the team per protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
