Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Oklahoma is hiring a Helicopter Pilot for a full-time position to provide medical air transportation. The role offers strong incentives and a 7/7 schedule, with on-duty housing and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include transporting patients with a medical team, ensuring aircraft readiness, and maintaining regulatory documentation while coordinating with dispatch and pilots. Minimum flight-hour requirements and FAA certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours; 1,500 Helicopter Hours; 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours; 500 Turbine Hours; 100 Night Flight Hours.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a team of medical professionals to and from locations and facilities.
• Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and comply with FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Keep accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and records; communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team per recording protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keepingEffectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)

Preferred Qualifications

• B206 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
