Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation. This Full-Time opportunity includes a strong compensation package, a 10% geo modifier, and a $15K sign-on bonus.

On-duty housing and retention bonuses provide added financial support. Responsibilities include transporting patients with a medical team, ensuring aircraft readiness for dispatch, maintaining regulatory documentation, and coordinating with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from locations with a medical team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and compliance with FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following change board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAir Evac Lifeteam and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecording Air Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)

Preferred Qualifications

• B206 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
