Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide emergency medical air transportation. The role requires a current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, rotorcraft instrument rating, and a FAA Class II Medical Certificate, with thousands of flight hours across total, helicopter, PIC, turbine, and night categories.

• Minimum Requirements listed include: current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, FAA Class II medical certificate, and flight hour thresholds.
• Weight limit of 230 lb including flight gear.
• Must maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and comply with FARs and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to subsequent pilots and team.

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties

Minimum Requirements

• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)

Preferred Qualifications

• EC135 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
