Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The role offers a full-time schedule (7/7) with on-duty housing and a salary range of $106,511 to $117,162 plus a 20% geo modifier.

A $15,000 sign-on bonus and up to $40,000 retention bonuses after 3 years are available. The successful candidate will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients, maintain aircraft readiness, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 100 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear).

Responsibilities

• Safe transport of patients with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and FAR/Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
