Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an AEGIS Test & Evaluation Engineer to support the Navy’s DDG 51 program from the Washington, D.C. area. You will lead the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), define test strategies, and coordinate funding for each phase of the program.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive AEGIS experience, and the ability to work with multiple organizations including PEO IWS, MDA, DOT&E, and NAVSEA. US citizenship and an active security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Experience leading test & evaluation programs for surface ship systems.
• Experience preparing executive-level presentations using MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions on SPY capabilities and maintenance for AEGIS baselines.
• Coordinate and review T&E plans and budgets for DDG 51 Flight III.
• Advise on test strategies, qualifications, and accreditation requirements.
• Represent the organization in technical meetings and working groups.
• Monitor T&E costs, schedule, and performance across programs.
