Job summary

Leidos in Dahlgren, VA is seeking a skilled AEGIS Computer Network Subject Matter Expert and Tactical and Technical Trainer for a full-time role to ensure combat systems training and readiness.

The position requires US Navy surface warfare experience, ACNT, CSOOW, and an active Secret clearance. You will develop training, teach Sailors, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to improve operational readiness.

Qualifications

• US Navy surface warfare combat systems experience on carriers or destroyers.
• Experience as Aegis CN Technician (ACNT).
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and conduct combat systems training for AEGIS platforms.
• Train Sailors in tactical and operational employment of the AEGIS system.
• Review and analyze Aegis Combat System capabilities and Navy doctrine.
• Integrate and optimize the ship's combat systems in dynamic environments.
• Conduct training sessions and develop evaluation criteria for training effectiveness.
