Job summary

Serco is seeking an Engineer (AEGIS Hardware & Software Integrator) in New Jersey to support PMS 400D and the Arleigh Burke class ships. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, with a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Computer Science and 5+ years of AEGIS/Navy Combat Systems experience.

The position is hybrid, with onsite support at Moorestown, NJ, and potential travel up to 10%. Candidates will review documentation, assess hardware/software maturation, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience with AEGIS or Navy Combat Systems.
• Experience with AEGIS Baseline 10 or related development sites.
• Experience with combat systems upgrades and testing on US Navy ships.
• Familiarity with software configuration management and baseline development.
• Able to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware and software maturity assessments and integration test results; identify watch items affecting activation schedule/performance.
• Provide onsite support at Development site (Moorestown, NJ or other) to ensure adequate system integration prior to shipboard installation.
• Identify early design and compatibility inflection points within baseline development.
• Review supporting technical documentation, evaluate proposed changes, and resolve issues within the technical community.
• SMEs provide technical review, analysis, and oversight for changes in their area of expertise.
• Accomplish other duties as assigned; access to SIPR is required.
