Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance and US citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred; alternatives allowed with experience.
• Experience with AEGIS Combat Systems or AEGIS Weapon Systems is highly desired.
• 8+ years of AEGIS experience.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead for the management and technical discussion on SPY capabilities and maintenance for all AEGIS baselines in service.
• Fluent in interoperability between various software developments in support of AEGIS baselines in the fleet and in development.
• Coordinate and review technical reports and recommendations; approve or disapprove recommendations affecting major weapons programs.
• Monitor and report on T&E program costs, schedule, and performance of all test and evaluation activities.
• Provide advice and guidance to Navy activities regarding planning, designing, conducting, and reporting operations for system development plans.
