Job summary

Techno Consult Engineering, PC (Techno) in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Project Billing Coordinator to support our accounting operations in a full-time capacity. You will prepare client invoices, manage AR/AP, review contracts for billing accuracy, and assist with month-end close.

The ideal candidate has extensive billing experience, QuickBooks proficiency, and strong attention to detail. Experience with AEC/project-based billing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of billing, AR/AP, bookkeeping, or general accounting experience.
• QuickBooks knowledge required.
• AEC/project-based billing and invoicing experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process client invoices for engineering and construction projects.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Process accounts payable and vendor invoices.
• Review contracts, project information, and supporting documentation for accurate billing.
• Reconcile billing, payment, and accounting records.
• Work with project managers and internal teams on billing requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end accounting activities.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed.
