Job summary

OpenAsset is hiring a Business Development Representative in New York City, embracing a hybrid policy with 3 in-office days weekly near Bryant Park. The role centers on phone-based outreach to a mix of cold and warm leads, setting qualified meetings for Account Executives, and expanding our presence in the AEC sector.

Ideal candidates bring experience in the AEC industry, a strong work ethic, and resilient, confident communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in AEC is the top priority, ideally with proposals background.
• Strong phone-based outreach and willingness to be on calls.
• Excellent verbal communication and rapport-building skills.
• Comfortable handling objections and driving conversations forward.
• Proactive in identifying new business opportunities and coordinating with Account Executives.

Responsibilities

• Make a high volume of outbound and inbound calls to qualify leads.
• Set meetings for Account Executives with qualified prospects.
• Overcome objections and keep conversations moving toward next steps.
• Understand day-to-day pain points of AEC professionals and tailor messaging.
• Collaborate with AEs to schedule meetings and drive revenue growth.
• Pursue growth within the organization with promotions in 1–2 years.
