Job summary

Design West Engineering in San Bernardino, CA, seeks an Accounting Administrator to ensure timely client payments, manage the project database, and assist the Accounting Manager with routine tasks.

Requirements: 3+ years invoicing in the AEC industry, strong communication, proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Office, and excellent organization. We offer a hybrid schedule, hourly pay, and benefits including health, dental/vision, life insurance, paid holidays, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 3+ years invoicing/billing experience in the AEC industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records client payments and accounts receivable.
• Creates invoices according to policy and submits to clients.
• Maintains and updates client files and project accounts.
• Drafts past-due notices and contacts delinquent accounts.
• Generates monthly billing statements and internal reports.
• Relays changes of information to appropriate staff.
