The role acts as the carrier expert in international transportation and collaborates with customs brokers to resolve clearance issues. The position requires a strong background in international operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently
Starting Rate of Pay: $25.47/ hour
This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight Location several times per week.
Ensure the efficient movement and clearance of Import/Export freight in compliance with established regulations and procedures for international freight. Provide training and technical expertise to International Reps. Updates operating procedures and takes proactive measures to reduce potential liability. Work with custom brokers as the \"carrier\" expert in international transportation.
