Cardinal Health is seeking a strategic sourcing advisor for indirect categories to develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver best value. You'll manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and lead RFPs to optimize spend while ensuring compliance.

The role partners with legal and compliance teams to secure favorable terms and drive cost efficiency. The incumbent will leverage spend analytics, market intelligence and cross-functional collaboration to deliver value for customers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing (indirect), category management, supplier management and negotiation.
• Effective communication in English and presentation skills with all levels of the organization.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Strong project and process management skills.
• Well versed in MS Office tools; SAP and SAP Ariba a plus.
• Working knowledge of industry and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Category Sourcing Lead for the assigned indirect categories (e.g., Environmental Health and Safety, Energy and Facilities).
• Primary sourcing partner support for stakeholders within indirect categories.
• Collaborate with indirect suppliers to source indirect goods and services.
• Initiate, negotiate and finalize new indirect supplier contracts and maintain existing contracts.
• Manage RFP events within indirect categories.
• Drive purchasing discipline and compliance with internal stakeholders.
• Review and approve BuyNow purchase requests and new supplier setups.
• Work with legal and compliance to ensure favorable terms.
