Antietam Broadband in Hagerstown, MD is seeking an Advertising Sales Executive to drive revenue through cable television and digital advertising. You will nurture current accounts and win new clients with creative campaigns and strong sales skills.

This role involves meeting quotas, managing orders, credit and billing processes, and preparing reports, with uncapped commissions and an OTE of $70,000–$90,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications or commensurate work experience.
• 1 year of media experience, preferably digital marketing is required.
• Prior experience with television and digital advertising sales experience preferred.
• Understanding of digital advertising products including SEO, SEM, targeted programmatic display, streaming TV, video pre-roll, email marketing, social media advertising, and device ID.
• Experience in consultative selling process, including pre-call prospecting and setting appointments, completing a needs analysis with potential clients, creating proposals, and presenting and closing business.
• Ability to use a CRM to track sales activity and revenue.
• Ability to use research materials and data to create advertising solution proposals.
• Assist clients with advertising copy and coordinating production and scheduling of advertising with other departments.
• Strong client and agency contacts; well networked.
• Strong desire to bring positive energy and strong sales activity to the team.
• Keen ability to identify and present big picture concepts, yet pay attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented and reliable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products, CRM and other internal systems.
• Reliable car/transportation and valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Studies and understands all facets of the media products and services offered.
• Trains in various sales tactics and approaches approved by the company.
• Approaches potential clients through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, promotional events, or other means.
• Delivers a skilled sales pitch to potential clients, either by phone or in person, to secure a sale.
• Explains the benefits and potential audience of specific media offerings to potential clients.
• Details pricing and negotiates costs when necessary.
• Facilitates successful sales by collecting client information and providing order information to the company.
• Tracks every media purchase to ensure completion and timeliness.
• Keeps accurate notes detailing all client interactions and activities.
• Works to maximize sales and meet quotas in short and long term.
• Maintains excellent relationships with internal and external colleagues and clients.
• Travel to see clients or agency representatives, participate in events and trainings.
• Meet clients outside normal business hours when necessary.
• Bonus compensation plan when exceeding budget and/or exceptional sales performance.
