Job summary

Antietam Broadband is seeking an energetic Business Sales Executive in the Hagerstown, MD area to grow revenue through local partnerships and new opportunities. This on-site hunter role focuses on Carroll County, with a strong emphasis on in-market activities and an uncapped commission structure.

The role requires 5–7+ years of sales experience, consultative selling skills, and knowledge of Metro E fiber services. OTE is $80,000-$95,000 per year, with a $1,500 signing bonus.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of sales experience required in telephony, data and video systems preferred.
• Experience in consultative selling process from prospecting to closing.
• Strong negotiation, problem solving, networking and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management and organization.
• Desire to drive high sales activity with a loyal enterprise client base.
• 5+ years of understanding Metro E Fiber access and transport, managed network services, and cloud solutions.
• Experience with IT Managed Service Providers.
• Experience selling to business and IT decision makers and influencers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify new business development opportunities.
• Build sales relationships with businesses, community organizations, government officials, and chambers of commerce to promote Antietam Broadband and acquire customers.
• Deliver face-to-face sales presentations showcasing Antietam products and services.
• Stay updated on competitive landscape and technologies (DSx, Ethernet, Internet, VoIP, Data Networking) and related services.
• Maintain accurate sales records and prepare activity reports.
• Attend customer meetings and demonstrate strong presenting, persuading and negotiating skills.
• Collaborate with IT, TechOps, Construction, Installation, Technical Support, and Customer Care teams to ensure service levels.
• Coordinate with marketing for direct mail and digital campaigns; promote revenue opportunities.
• Coordinate with installation team on scheduling new installs and upgrades.
