Job summary

Rivian in Texas is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join our Service team during peak seasons. You will help keep Rivian vehicles ready for delivery by learning across vehicle operations, PDI tasks, and training pathways that lead toward becoming a Service Technician.

You will gain hands-on experience with basic tools, support technicians, and take part in Rivian’s TRAIL program and RLN modules, with mentorship and a clear path to a long-term role within Rivian.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical experience preferred in automotive, mechanical, or related fields.
• Strong desire to learn and hands-on mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to work a flexible 40-hour week including weekends/holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use basic tools with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory.
• Maintain vehicle quality and readiness through washing, detailing, and charging.
• Manage vehicle logistics: lot organization, shuttling, and key management.
• Maintain a safe, organized service center per 5S principles.
• Assist technicians with basic repairs (PDI tasks and Express Lane).
• Learn to use basic hand and power tools under supervision.
• Participate in TRAIL program and RLN training; pursue Service Technician pathway.
