Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join the Service team during peak seasons. You will help with inventory, vehicle readiness, and basic PDI tasks while learning hands-on skills under supervision.

This entry point emphasizes training through the TRAIL program, RLN modules, and mentorship to prepare you for a future Service Technician role, with cross-functional support across the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous technical experience in automotive, mechanical maintenance, or related field is highly preferred.
• A strong desire to learn, adaptability and hands-on attitude are essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (3–5 year window).
• Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week including weekends and holidays; physical tasks up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety instructions.
• This role may involve interactions with customers, partners, and Rivian facilities.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & Site Operations: receive, inspect, and process inventory; maintain vehicle readiness.
• Service Production Support: assist technicians with basic repairs and PDI tasks; learn tool use.
• Training & Career Development: participate in TRAIL program and RLN modules; pursue Service Technician pathway.
